Built to mark three decades of Porsche’s most celebrated creation, the 1993 911 Carrera 4 “30 Jahre 911” (aka 30th Anniversary Edition or 30^th Celebration Edition) is more than just a car. It is the embodiment of everything the air-cooled era stood for: purity of purpose, mechanical perfection, and a design language untouched by time.

Mechanical Soul, Dressed in Celebration

The 30 Jahre was based on the Carrera 4 platform — combining Porsche’s bulletproof 3.6-litre air-cooled flat-six with a manual gearbox and all-wheel drive for true everyday usability.

But it’s the body that defines this edition — the wider rear arches of the 911 Turbo minus the rear wing, creating one of the most beautifully sculptured and proportioned 911s ever produced. Subtle badging, a numbered plaque, and exclusive interior details distinguish the Celebration Edition as something truly rare.

Just 911 of these celebratory wide-bodied 964s were ever built for the world — and of those, only 39 left the factory in right-hand drive for the UK mainland, of which only 23 units are believed to be still in existence in the UK. This example? It may well be the best-preserved, best prepared, and most correctly restored of them all.

This is a concours-level example, restored to a standard few will ever witness — let alone own. This car has undergone an exacting, comprehensive restoration by ourselves, returning it to an as-new condition throughout. Highlights include:

Presented today in concours-quality condition with a host of paperwork including the original handbook and service book with 34 Porsche main dealer stamps, invoices and previous sales particulars (two files)

In March 1993, Porsche presented the 911 Anniversary model at the Geneva Motor Show. Entitled the “30 Jahre 911” by the factory it was also commonly known as the “Jubilee”, “Jubi” or “Celebration”. Under the internal factory code of M096, this was a limited edition, factory built 911 (964) Carrera 4 with the “WTL” (Wide Turbo Look) Turbo wheel arches and wheels but without the tray styled rear wing.

Originally offered in three metallic colours; Amethyst, Polar Silver and Viola Purple. Subtle interior details included a titanium silver gear knob inlay and a rear parcel shelf numbered plaque.

Most cars received Rubicon Grey leathered interiors, however a few had black.
